Experience Through the Flower 2 piece by piece with our 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. In the early 1970’s Judy Chicago’s work focused on transforming her abstract iconography to more clearly express her experiences as a woman. Chicago’s painting, Through the Flower 2, 1973, expanded her previously developed “central core” imagery, now depicted as moving “through the flower;” a symbol of moving beyond the constraints of the construct of femininity. The pulsing and vibrating petals surround a center of pastel hues that fade into each other, applied using Chicago’s signature sprayed acrylic technique. Finished puzzle measures 19 x 28.75 in.
