Since its founding in 1978, Through the Flower has grown into a substantial resource and research center.  The organization’s various partnerships with educational institutions across the US combined with its own collection of a range of media including books, magazines, and videos that are made available to the public at the Through the Flower Art Space, is just one part of Through the Flower’s mission to counter the erasure of women’s achievements through education and art.  Through the Flower regularly co-sponsors lectures and other public programs and with the opening of the Through the Flower Art Space in Belen, New Mexico, is dedicated to developing a dynamic program schedule that will include guest speakers, workshops, and film screenings.
